Music, Dance, and Sensory Play @ Rough & Bumble
Address: 413 Delaware St, Leavenworth, KS 66048
Saturday, July 18th from 9:30–10:45 AM
A lively blend of music, movement, and sensory exploration for ages 0–5
($5 per child, and siblings are welcome)
This is a combo class of Music & Motion and our Rhythm & Play coming together. This class invites young children to move, groove, and explore in a fun, developmentally supportive environment. We will have a private room to start our class for our introductions, music, and rhythm.
Midway through class, children transition into sensory play breakout and explore the equipment at the play cafe.
Designed for all abilities, this class encourages social connection, creativity, and joyful movement—helping preschoolers build important skills while having a blast.

Summer Basketball Camp
with CJ Vallejo
The Basketball Camp, Skills & Drills with PAC Athletes, are hosted by the PAC Basketball Program led by Coach Liam Wolfe, community partner and friend of our mission, in collaboration with Down Syndrome Innovations.
Prior to camp, Down Syndrome Innovations' staff will have provided the coaches and athlete mentors training in how to effectively support the learning, participation, and dignity of teens with Down syndrome. The PAC athletes are offering this opportunity to our kids, teens, and adults to inspire them to be active in a sport they love and to build their athletic skills, but also so they can learn to be more inclusive in their sports and athletic practices beyond this camp experience, which benefits many participants with Down syndrome in the future.
Please note that there will be different time slots for different age groups:
- 6-12 year olds camp will be from 9:30-10:30a
- 13-17 year olds camp will be from 11:00-12:30p
- 18+ year old camp will be from 1:30-3:00p
Each camp has a capacity for 25 DSI athletes, so we can provide one-on-one support and skill station leaders. Registration will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis, and once we hit capacity, we will start a waiting list.
The week prior to camp, the families of the first 20 registrants will be contacted to confirm their spot. Waiting list participants will be contacted to fill any spots that become available at that time. If you have questions, contact CJ Vallejo at cj@kcdsi.org.
