Small Group Fitness for Teens & Adults Wednesday
with Scott Quaife
(See information below about Fees-for-Service if you would like to register today without payment and receive a bill later.)
These 45-minute group fitness classes are designed specifically for teens and adults, with workouts tailored to each participant’s goals, abilities, and experience level. Because no two participants are the same, every workout can be scaled and modified for any fitness level—making these classes a safe, effective, and fun way to start or maintain a fitness routine.
Classes are capped at six participants to ensure focused coaching and personal attention. If a session is full, you can request to be added to the waiting list, and participants are moved into the class as space becomes available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To promote safety and a successful experience for everyone, participants should be able to follow instructions in a group setting. Each class is led by a single instructor, and one-on-one support is not provided. Parents should inform the instructor of any potential behaviors or concerns prior to participation to help ensure the best possible experience for all participants.
Fees: $46/month (1 day/week), $92/month (2 days/week), or $138/month (3 days/week). Any combination of days is possible as enrollment allows.
Participants who are already enrollled in this service do not need to re-register to continue services. Your spot in this class remains until you notify Scott Quaife that you no longer wish to attend.
Payment Information:No payment is required at registration. Please bypass the payment system by using the promo code "BILLME" at checkout. Scott Quaife, our Fitness & Nutrition Coordinator, will contact you to review the service and intake process. Billing occurs after completing a service agreement and an exercise assessment. This service is pre-billed at the beginning of each month. Grant funding is currently available for eligible Jackson and Platte County residents.

DS-ASD Caregiver Connection Group (Virtual)
with Megan DeBoom
Caregiver Connection: DS – ASD is a virtual gathering of caregivers to discuss resources, strategies, community supports, and challenges related to a child or adult’s current or potential dual-diagnosis of Down syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This group is facilitated by Down Syndrome Innovations staff, and we will occasionally invite special guests with expertise in this area. This is a complimentary caregiver education opportunity, provided in addition to the individualized services we provide directly for individuals with DS-ASD for the purpose of skill-development, improving self-regulation and behavior, and increasing independence.
We are providing this group virtually to ensure we are being inclusive of families throughout the region and those who are not able to access transportation, as we understand that facing a dual-diagnosis can already feel isolating in and of itself. We understand this is a subgroup of the entire population we serve, with unique challenges and experiences, and we hear how important it is for you all to feel connected. We hope that meeting one another in this group will organically open up opportunities for you all to spend time together face to face as you develop meaningful connections with one another.
All registered participants will receive a Zoom link from the instructor.
